While the Adidas Tiro 19 were originally known as “soccer pants” due to their loose fit and tight, stretchy lower legs to promote clean footwork, they’re also a jogger. In fact, one of our favorite joggers for both lounging and high-intensity activities.
Coming in 18 colors ranging from Clear Mint, Power Red, to Legend Ink and Real Magenta, there are plenty of interesting shades to fit any mood or style. Adidas’ iconic stripes run down the sides of each leg, giving a slimming, sporty effect.
The 100% polyester fabric is long-lasting and sure to not rip easily, while Climacool and mesh details keep you cool and dry in warmer environments. As they’re quick-drying, they’re great for hiking along the hotter trails or wearing to the gym.
If you’re in a hurry or are wearing shorts underneath and need to take them off in a moment’s notice, the ankle zips are incredibly useful. You can easily remove them even with shoes on!
The women’s sweatpants with pockets feature one on each side, so if you’re a person who never knows what to do with their hands, these are great to have.
We do recommend checking out the sizing chart as we had some issues finding the proper size, but the elastic waistband does make it a little easier to be flexible with sizing. If you are looking for a more slim fit, these are the best women’s sweatpants.
Champion is a brand which built its reputation on making inexpensive, high-quality sportswear, and their Women’s Jogger is exemplary of that. Not only are they affordable, but Champion is particularly fashionable right now. While only offering Black, Grey, Oxford Grey Heather/Oatmeal Heather, and Oxford Heather/Oatmeal Heather, we really would’ve liked to have seen more colorways available. However the ones that are looked high-quality and go with practically any other color. Made of 60% polyester and 40% cotton, the joggers are quite soft, yet maintain a bit of rigidity which means it will hold up well over time. The tapered-leg style along with ribbed cuffs and waistband make for a particularly stylish design, and the adjustable drawstring will ensure the proper fit. Off-seam front pockets are convenient for holding small valuables, and having them within close reach at all times. While we noticed that they hardly shrink at all when washed, we did notice the did pill up a bit after just one wash. While it wasn’t a great amount, it was still significant that we felt we should mention it.

If you’re on the hunt for joggers that are a bit looser and less restrictive, then check out the Matymats Sports Harem Sweatpants Active Jogger Pants.
Made of nylon, polyester, and spandex, the pants are extremely stretchy and easy to move without worrying about them ripping. This makes them perfect for lounging around, just as well as yoga, working out, and pretty much anything else you feel like doing.
This blend also serves to keep you dry and cool, thanks to its breathable properties. Neither too thick nor too thin, it serves well to give a lightweight feeling, while still providing a bit of protection against the elements.
If you’re looking for comfort, these simply can’t be beat.
The large, fold-over waistband is made of elastic, which is also nice and stretchy – just enough to make sure they stay on without over-compressing or cutting into the skin. For a custom fit and style, we can’t recommend this type of waistband enough.
While these baggy joggers come in three colors, they are all very similar: Heather Black, Black, and Charcoal.
This doesn’t allow for much variation at all, so if you want something a bit brighter, then you will have to opt for another model. However if you are looking for a baggier fit, these are the best women’s joggers.
If you did happen to want more options as far as colors go, the SweatyRocks Color Block Jogger Pants are one of the best options. You’ll find over 30 selections, including: White/Black Stripe, Camo, Navy/Red/White, Burgundy with White Stripes, various colors with words, and more. You’ll have to check them out yourself, as there are quite a few excellent colorways and patterns. While they’re quite inexpensive, the pants are surprisingly built well. The seams are sturdy, so you can use them for exercise or for simply relaxing around the house. While they’re not very lightweight, they’re still great for the warmer months, just as well as when the weather starts getting a bit chillier. We wouldn’t recommend them for the middle of winter, however. Rather than being like your typical women’s jogger sweatpants, they have a kind of slick/slippery feel which isn’t great for keeping in warmth. These women’s jogger feature neither a slim fit or baggy fit, but rather somewhere in the middle. We would’ve liked the waistband to be a bit more stretchy, but it’s by no means overly-restrictive. The drawstring makes sure that you have a solid fit, and you can adjust them as you’d like.

Jogger sweatpants for women aren’t all made for wearing outside the home, or for athletic activities. If you want a pair more like loungewear or even for wearing to bed, then give the U.S. Polo Assn.
Sweatpants Pajamas a go. If you’re looking to really pamper yourself while reading the newspaper and enjoying a cup of coffee at home, these are the perfect accompaniment.
While they’re by no means expensive, they are a bit pricier than some others on our list. However, you will also see an increase in quality.
The feel of these French terry pants are ultra-soft and plush feeling, perfect for after a shower, or really anytime. The fabric is thick and made to keep you warm while remaining durable.
While they are ideal for at-home use, they’re so fashionable with the logo graphic running down the leg, that you’ll want to show them off to everyone.
The mid-rise pants are nice and slouchy, so you will remain completely unrestrained. The elastic waistband and cuffs won’t cut into the skin, but rather rest lightly against the skin. The drawstring makes it easy to adjust to your body, as well.

Rather than reaching all the way to the ankles, this model ends a bit before to keep you a bit cooler.
In addition, the fabric is lightweight, breathable, and wicks away moisture which is perfect for hot days or rigorous exercise. We don’t recommend them for colder environments, but they’re great for the warmer months.
The slightly tapered leg does provide a bit of a slimmer fit, but is still loose enough to make them great for yoga and other activities.
The elastic waistband only adds to the ease of movement, and the internal drawcord allows for adjustability while keeping them hidden away. Two side pockets make it easy to carry just about anything you need to while remaining hands-free.

How To Choose the Best Women’s Joggers – Buying Guide
Now that you’ve had the opportunity to read through each of our reviews on women’s joggers, which pair are the perfect ones for you? If you haven’t decided on one, that’s okay, there’s a lot to consider.
That’s why we’ve decided to take it upon ourselves to create a user-friendly buying guide. This will guide you along the path to success, making sure you select the right pair for your needs and body.
This is one of the first points to consider when selecting a good pair of women’s sweatpants. Typically, they’ll be made of one of the following, or a blend of one or more: polyester, cotton, and spandex.
Polyester is known for being a bit more rigid, but more durable. Polyester pants are going to shrink very little, or not at all, when washed in the washing machine. In addition, they retain their shape better and will typically last longer. Polyester is great if you’re going to be using them for very rigorous activity such as soccer, running, or in the gym.
Cotton is the softest and most breathable of the three fabrics. They’re very luxurious-feeling, and feel nice against the skin. As they are so breathable, this also makes them a good option if you’ll be using them in the warmer months, however, if they’re thicker then you’ll probably want to stick to wearing them in colder environments.
Spandex has a reputation for being stretchy, which can be extremely wanted in sporty pants. If you want a pair to use during yoga or other activities where you’ll want less restriction, look for spandex or a spandex/cotton blend.
As you can see, there are two general fits: baggy and slim. There are occasionally a couple that run somewhere in-between the two, but let’s cover the two main categories. There’s neither a right nor wrong fit, but rather depends on your personal goals and preferences.
Baggy-fitting pants are great if you don’t like restriction. This fit is preferable for activities such as yoga, going to the gym, or even just lounging about at home or at a hotel. They make less contact against the skin, which can be great for airflow and for keeping cool and dry. However, they typically are more ideal for sports or leisurely applications.
Slim-fit pants go along with more outfits, as they can be used in more “formal” settings. You can easily wear these out-and-about, downtown, to dinner, as well as to the gym. This fit will often be a bit thicker, but also tighter against the skin so they do a great job at retaining heat. You probably won’t want to wear these to the gym, but it will also depend, of course, on the materials they’re made of.
A huge part of comfortability and fit is the waistband and the drawstrings of a pant. Some waistbands are more bunched up, and tend to cut into the skin. If you’ve selected the perfect size, this may not be an issue, but this type can also cause a bit of discomfort and cutting into the skin.
There are also wider waistbands which do more to compress or make the stomach appear flatter without causing irritation. We personally like fold-over waistbands as you can change up the style and also make it work with you. Drawstrings are also nice to have, as they let you adjust your pants to fit you perfectly.
You could have the perfect pair of pants, but if they’re out of your budget, they’re not going to do you much good. First off, before you even start looking, make sure you have a solid number in mind and try not to go over it. This makes sure you have no buyer’s remorse, even if you really like the product.
There are plenty of affordable joggers to choose from on our guide, so that shouldn’t be an issue. Keep in mind that even going up a few dollars can make a difference in terms of feel and durability, so if you’re willing to spend a bit more, you’ll often have a better experience.
FAQs About Joggers & Sweatpants
Q: What size should I get?
A: This will of course vary from manufacturer to manufacturer, so it’s always a good idea to check the sizing guide if you can. Otherwise, going up a size rather than down is often in best practice. The reason why, is because most will have a stretchy elastic waistband and/or drawstrings that will let you tighten the pants to suit you. If you select a pair that’s too small, then there’s not much you can do to fix that.
Q: How should I wash my pants to make sure they last a long time?
A: If you want to extend the life of your joggers, it’s a good idea to avoid machine washing and drying. These machines are actually really harsh on clothing. Rather, try to hand wash and hang dry if you’re willing to put in the extra time and effort.
Q: Which color of joggers should I select?
A: It’s always good to go with the pants that stick out to you first. Don’t be scared to select a color that will turn others’ heads! They’re your pants, not theirs, after all, right? However, if you’re looking for a pair that you can wear with pieces you already have in your wardrobe, you will probably be better off with a neutral color like black, white, or grey.
Tips For Womens Sweatpants & Joggers
#1: If you want to look your best, try wearing tailored and fitted tops with your joggers. These will contrast with the bagginess of joggers perfectly. Wearing them with oversized tops can make the look become unbalanced and even awkward.
#2: For a great streetwear look, pair them with simple items. Bomber jackets, leather jackets, and denim jackets combined with t-shirts and sneakers are the perfect outfit.
#3: To dress up your joggers, opt for darker colors. Charcoal grey, black, and/or navy are the best options, generally speaking. Also make sure they’re a bit more fitted rather than baggy. Pair them with a nice blazer and sweater, and you’re all set.
Now that you are in-the-know regarding just about anything with jogger pants, have you selected the perfect pair for you? We hope that our article has been of some help in finding women’s joggers. Thank you for tuning in, and we’ll see you again shortly!
